Giving Tuesday 2021

November 30, 2021 Is The Biggest Day Of Generosity In The World!

#givingtuesday2021

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world.

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.

Giving Tuesday is now a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Giving Tuesday is the biggest giving day of the year around the world, and on November 30th, we will celebrate together what we have accomplished for the children of Ukraine.

#GivingTuesday #Iam823

Why is this one day important?

There are a couple of strategic reasons for giving at this specific time and sharing this cause for Mission 823.

  1. The suffering of the children of Ukraine is increasing. The war with Russia, COVID-related difficulties, failing social programs, and a struggling economy are all conspiring to create a desperate situation that demands we step up our efforts.

  2. Additional staffing, vehicles, and facilities are needed to address the growing crisis.

  3. Winter is setting in, and conditions will quickly worsen.

  4. Malnourishment and abuse in the state orphanages are on the rise.

  5. Mission 823 is seeking to expand our services and budget for 2022. Our dreams are growing, and our vision is large.

  6. End-of-year giving helps us finish the year strong and, as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides a tax break incentive for every donor.

  7. The timing of these gifts allows us to provide much-needed services during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holidays for needy children and families.

Are there some urgent needs?

Yes! Prayerfully consider designating your gift for one of these pressing projects. All undesignated funds will be applied where most needed:

*Support for Faith House family home - an adoptive family home for orphans in western Ukraine.

*Purchase of a quality used Volkswagen Van for our Ukraine Youth Camp team.

*Support and sponsor a child for our Youth Camp facilities monthly operational fund.

*Sponsor a youth camp for 50-60 traumatized kids.

*Launch a new feeding program for state-run orphanages. The goal is to supplement the nutrition for 10,000-15,000 children.

*Support our anti-trafficking efforts in the fight against the growing threat of child exploitation and abuse.
