Human Trafficking Initiatives in Ukraine

at risk kids in Ukraine

We are very proud of our partner's progress in strengthening the laws and systems of Ukraine to combat child trafficking in prevention, rescue and after care. A huge victory was the passage of new laws that make it illegal to watch, store, produce or distribute child pornography.

They also strengthen protections for children under the age of 16, revise the statute of limitations language in favor of the victims and make it illegal to participate in "grooming" activities for the purpose of exploiting or trafficking children. Major win! Read more here: The New Ukrainian Law

Hungry Children Fed and Given New Beds

Almost 200 children in three neighboring villages are being served by the Mission 823 team. Covid has decimated the local economies causing extreme hardship.

Providing food and bedding, prayer and counseling for these struggling families is a privelege orchestrated by all of you. Thanks to your generosity and faithfulnees, children are warm, fed and no longer sleeping on the floor.

Paris, Texas For The Win!

Shawn's recent visit to Paris, Texas was a joyful reunion with dear friends, introduction to new partners and presentations of the work of Mission 823.

The beautiful people of Paris enabled us to equip a fledgling church and resource the completion of the Faith House Family Home in the Carpathian mountains of Ukraine. Soon, an adoptive family will be giving hurting children a forever home!

We're Famous . . . Well, Almost!

Shawn, Amy and some of our key ambassadors were interviewed this month by Lake and Sumter Style Magazine in Central Florida and also by Lifestyle Blogger, Adrienne Balkum in Dallas.

We appreciate the opportunity to tell these kids' stories and are thankful for those who introduce us to their networks.

Consider hosting us on your podcast, conducting an interview or just recommending our website and social media pages. These kids need your voice and advocacy!

Please visit Facebook and Instagram pages and You Tube Channel and share them widely. We need a lot more voices and ambassadors actively participating so that we can have the greatest impact for the people of Ukraine.

Thank you and God Bless You!
