The Last 40 Days in Ukraine...
Over 10 million people have been directly affected by the war in Ukraine and over 3 million evacuees have crossed over the borders at this time.
Here is a quick update as to what your very generous donations have helped us to accomplish in the last month for the people of Ukraine:
Our teams have personally been able to move over 13,000 people to safety either over the border or to our facilities in western Ukraine.
Helped finance 3 large tour buses evacuating refugees to safety - running 24/7.
Purchased 3 additional vehicles to help with daily evacuations of refugees and make food and supply runs for various shelters.
Hired 2 staff members to help with the transport and care of refugees.
Sheltering and caring for 60+ refugees in our 2 facilities in western Ukraine.
Supporting 7 other shelters nearby with finances, food and other supplies.
Purchased and shipped 15,000 water filters - will provide 3 million gallons of water each day.
Purchased and shipped 235 multi casualty military grade trauma kits.
Received 6 semi-truck loads of hygiene and toiletry supplies from Winn Dixie -unloaded into local warehouse - making arrangements for shipment soon.
2 semi-truck loads of medical supplies being loaded and shipped to us from a donor in Texas.
Purchased 2 ambulances for use by the Parliament of Ukraine in exchange for expedited orders to help us move orphans to safety.
100,000 meals donated for us to package and ship to Ukraine.
Collecting, shipping and distributing food, medical equipment and humanitarian aid items to areas throughout Ukraine.
Working in close partnership with professional security /logistics teams here in the States and in Ukraine to facilitate safe evacuations and humanitarian aid.
On the phone daily with several families, groups and orphanages in Ukraine to establish their current situation and location for possible assistance or evacuation.
Speaking in several churches, community events and TV/radio interviews, telling the story about Ukraine and how people can get involved and help.
Building a database of names/trades/skills for volunteer trips that we will be organizing to Ukraine in the near future.
